The Garden Fete together with some generous donation raised just over £1539
The weather on the last Sunday in June has always turned out well for our fundraising events and we have been doing them for many, many years! It was lovely to see people enjoying themselves as they browsed the stalls or chatted with their mugs of tea in hand. Lovely to see the children also enjoying themselves.
These events are very hard work, not only on the day, but in the preparation and the clearing up, so I must say a very special thank you to the many people who worked so hard to prepare goods for the stalls, who carried tables, chairs, tents, plants and books around Bradfield and helped put them into place------ and cleared up afterwards! Thank you to everyone who supplied Bric a Brac and books and wonderful cakes cooked through the red heat alert!!!! It is lovely to work with other organisations, so thank you Bradfield WI for cake supplies and to members of Mistley Church for supplying tents and helping to put them up. It was also nice to have our local Knit and Natter running a stall. a few pictures in the gallery.
