On Saturday 19th July over fifty people enjoyed an evening of wonderful music presented by Con Spirito. Luckily the storm held off until we were enjoying the buffet! The Friends would like to thank the group for giving their time to prepare and perform such a varied programme - there was something for all tastes of music. The profits for the evening are in the region of £376 which will go towards the window project. Some photos of the performance are in our gallery.

Garden Open Day results
Fantastic weather brought out the crowds, with over 260 people enjoying a day in Bradfield. The weather together with the garden owner’s hard work helped to create some wonderful displays for everyone to view. There was also plenty to eat and drink and plants and cakes to buy. A big thank you to everyone who helped in anyway, either by opening their garden, playing in the band, manning the stalls and kitchens or by supplying produce.
The overall profit was £1766 which is the third highest ever. This was the 21st time the event had taken place, and in total it has raised £28,448 between 1991 and 2014. The money will be used to clean and repair the stained glass windows of St Lawrence Church. We hope to have photos posted shortly.
Gardens Open Day
The Performing Rights Society are supporting this event by giving us a 100% discount on the licence.
PRS for Music licences the use of copyright music across the UK, giving businesses and organisations the legal permission they need to play the music they want.
These licences ensure that music publishers, songwriters and composers are fairly rewarded with royalties so they can keep making music - and mean that we’re able to support music at events like this.
